Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, right in the center of Hertford close to all the restaurants. The rooms were comfortable, but the noise from the nightclub below was a drawback. The service was efficient and friendly, making me feel welcome. The dining experience was enjoyable, offering delicious options, although the breakfast timing could be more accommodating.
The Hertford House Hotel was a nice stay, a bit away from the noisy bar downstairs, which could be a concern in other rooms. The room was too hot, forcing us to keep the window open due to the commotion. Overall, mixed feelings about the stay.
The hotel is located overlooking large air conditioning units, making it difficult to sleep due to the noise. Additionally, noise from the downstairs bar and garden can disrupt rest, especially when dance events go on until late at night. Despite these challenges, the hotel has distinct character.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable with a very cozy bed but got very hot at night, requiring me to keep the window open. The breakfast was decent. The service was exceptional, especially with the staff being apologetic and generous in compensating for the noise from the nightclub. The location was central, perfect for my 40th birthday celebration, and the dining experience offered tasty food with a good selection. The facilities were adequate, and the price was reasonable.
